Webb10 mars 2016 · 1 Answer Sorted by: 8 Traced this problem to a fuse under the dashboard, located in the middle horizontal row right most fuse. Turns out this fuse is the indicator fuse and when this fuse is blown the indicators won't work but the hazard lights still work. Webb22 mars 2008 · Just to be clear - the left hand bulb is now installed on the right side and I still get this intermittent problem. The right hand bulb, is now on the left side and working fine. When I get the quick flashing on the dashboard, the actual indicator does not work (only the rear and side indicators flash).

Once you can see your relays, remove the old turn signal flasher relay and replace it with the new one. Don't worry about installing it incorrectly, it will only go in one way, the right way. IF this doesn't find it, you'll be tracing the loom right back to the switch/relay, by which time it's probably better to just run a new wire.
