While I never let my rifle sit with Black Horn 209 I just thought that when I cleaned the bore with solvent, the residue I got out of it had to have some corrosive applications to it in a rifle. I shot 90 grains of BH-209 with 250 grain bullet and black sabot and 209-A federal primers. You have to have a very hot 209 to ignite BH-209 but you can shoot 15-20 shots and never so much as to have to clean the rifle.
