WebJun 12, 2024 · #1 hi we had a harveys water softner fitted 19 days ago and it has already eaten 4 blocks of salt! the fitter said it would probably use 2 blocks in the first 2-3 weeks and then 2 blocks every 4-5 weeks. salt costs money and we assumed it would cost us 2 blocks a month not 6 or more.
