WebVery picturesque, easy trail. We arrived at the Calawee Cove Beach parking lot at 8:30am and there were only a few cars there. Walked to Vikingsholm and to the Lower Eagle Falls, definitely recommend. Very refreshing to have a swim at Calawee before heading back out. We thought Calawee was more picturesque than Emerald Bay. WebInspiration Point towers 600 feet above Lake Tahoe and is the perfect spot to overlook all of Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Vikingsholm and more! Paved walkways make every aspect of Lake Tahoe picture-frame perfect. Parking can be a bit crowded, especially during the summer months around 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Legal parking does NOT include Highway 89.
