WebExcellentProfession9 • 1 yr. ago. Some of my best loads have been with Blc2. It is dirty when loaded light or moderate pressures. At near max pressures burns very clean. All powders are temperature sensitive just some more so than others. Accurate 2520 is the most extreme I’ve ever used BLC is not near as bad. WebThis is excellent powder for use with: .223 Rem., 5.56×45 NATO, .308 Win, 204 Ruger, 17 Remington, and many other calibers. It loads very similarly to Hodgdon BL-C2 powder. Note: Read the warnings on the packaging before loading this powder. Will come packaged as: 16 lb of WC-846 powder packaged in two 8 lb. jugs in a UN 4G Hazmat shipper kit.

IMHO, gotta test it your PARTICULAR rifle. WebAug 1, 2012 · Traditionally, H335's burn rate has been preferred for .223/5.56, and BL-C (2)'s for .308 Win. You can use either one for either round. BL-C (2) is a little slower than H335. For match ammo, it really depends on your specific gun, as well as the bullet you use and the attention to detail used during the entire reloading process.

WebJan 14, 2009 · Similar caveat for the .308/7.62 X 51 brass BLC-2 is a very good easily metered powder very appropriate for .223 and .308. Work up you load using normal procedures. Any time you change a component (especially the case) you must work up a new load. 5.56 brass runs long when new/unfired. If you get some that has ben fired …
WebSep 12, 2003 · The rifles are single shots with 22" barrels. I think that BLC-2 and W748 are great for the 30-30 and easy to load as they flow thru a powder thrower well. I use CCI 250 primers or Rem 9 1/2M primers. I usually load WW or Rem cases. I use the BLC-2 in .308 and .223 with great results.
